Record winter crop production in Australia

Winter crop production in Australia is estimated at a new record of 67.3 million tonnes in 2022/23, surpassing the previous year’s record by an additional four million tonnes.

This represents an upward revision of around 8.4 per cent from the December 2022 edition of the Australian Crop Report.

Production of wheat and canola are estimated to have reached new records, while the third highest barley production is expected.
